Unlike many other states, the probate process in Idaho is nothing to fear. Probate can literally be as simple or as complex as needed and no more. The Idaho Probate Code allows some probates to be concluded within a month. A lot of the process can be completed electronically or by mail.
To begin this process, download our questionnaire under the resources menu. Once you have completed this form, contact our office to setup an appointment with either Blair or Mary Beth to discuss the best type of probate to file for you and your family.
We will need to have an official copy of the Death Certificate in our file when you receive one.
In order to complete the probate process, we will need an accounting of expenses or income received on behalf of the estate during the probate process along with what happened to any property either given away, distributed, or sold that belonged to your loved one.
